PowerChute Network Shutdown For Mac

Network Management Card(UPS 側)に IP等ネットワークの設定．

• arp, ping, telnet によりネットワーク基本設定．

   # arp -s IP_ADDR MAC_ADDRESS
   # ping -s 113 IP_ADDR 
   # telnet IP_ADDR

  で，CUI でいろいろ設定． また，IP さえつけてしまえば，http://IP_ADDR/ でいろいろ設定してもいい．

• Web インタフェイス(http://IP_ADDR/)から，必要事項設定

   管理者ユーザ: apc  (デフォルト)
   管理者パスワード: apc  (デフォルト)
  Network Shutdown 用パスフレーズ: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (←15文字以上)

クライアント側†

APC PowerChute Network Shutdown(Mac 側)をインストール．

• 必ず，CD の内容を HDD 上にコピーしたものからインストールを行う．
• 上記 Network Management Card の情報を登録．
• 起動スクリプトに不具合があったので修正． /Library/Startup Script/... のなかのスクリプトのパス(変数)と /usr/local/PowerChute/powerchute.sh の java のパス． (これは APC のサポートサイトにあがっている ローカルにインストールプログラムをコピーしてから， インストールを行っていないからだった．)
• この PowerChute Network Shutdown の動作状況に関しては， コンソールから Web ブラウザを起動し，

   http://localhost:3052/

  へアクセスすることで見ることができる． (ユーザ名，パスワードは，インストール時に Network Management Card の ユーザ名，パスワードとして入力したものが採用される． インストール後の変更はできない． 変更する場合は，再インストールが必要．) また，このインタフェイスから，UPS がバッテリー駆動に なった場合の動作(->shutdown)を設定する．

UPS の管理者ユーザ名，パスワードを変更する場合は，上記 Web†

インタフェイス

• http://IP_ADDR/
• http://localhost:3052/ から，UPS 側，Mac 側の両方のパラメータを変更する必要があります．
