Smart Start CD 7.600 を挿入し，コマンドラインから autorun を実行する．
「同意」->「ソフトウェア」タブ->

ターミナルが開く．

**kernel の更新 [#q5ac8b0e]
Linux の kernel を更新した際に PSP でインストールされている kernel モジュールを再コンパイル
してインストールしなおす必要があるが，最近の PSP(少なくとも 8.10 以降)では，
起動時に自動的にやってくれるようだ．(HP OpenIPMI のモジュールで確認．)
なんてかしこなんや．
ちなみに，OpenIPMI のモジュールがインストールされているかの確認は，以下でできる．
# cd /opt/hp/hp-OpenIPMI
# ./check_install_kernel.sh

HP のヘルスチェックのデーモンが CPU ロードアベレージをあげる

hp-snmp-agent から起動されるエージェントのうち，
/opt/hp/hp-snmp-agents/server/etc/cmasm2d
を止めてやれば，ロードアベレージがぐんと下がりました．
cmasm2d は以下の URL では「Remote Insight/Integrated Lights-Out Agent」
となっているので，使ってないからいいやと...

で，自動的に起動しないようにするためには
/opt/hp/hp-snmp-agents/cma.conf
の中の
exclude
の行に起動させないエージェント名を書いてやれば O.K. でした．

*iLO2 からのシリアル接続 [#he768ecb]
iLO2 の仮想シリアルデバイスは Linux から ttyS1 として認識される．
また，Baud Rate は 115200．
なので，/etc/inittab に以下を追加してやれば，
OS 起動後仮想しリアルデバイス経由でログインできる．
T1:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS1 115200 vt100
また，root で接続するには /etc/securetty に
ttyS1
があるのを確認しておく．
仮想シリアルへの接続方法は iLO2 の Web 画面から行うか，
SSH で接続し，コマンドラインで行う．
コマンドラインの場合は，
start /system1/oemhp vsp1
もしくは </>hpiLO->プロンプトで
VSP
と入力する．
終了時は
Esc + (

*シャットダウン時に監視エージェントの一部の停止が失敗する [#p4ea03d3]
ProLiant DL や ML のシャットダウン時に cmarackd と cpqriisd の
停止が FAILED なる．
これらの監視エージェントはブレード用のものなので気にしなくていいが，
メッセージを出したくない場合は，
/opt/hp/hp-snmp-agents/cma.conf
を編集し，
exclude cmarackd cpqriisd
とする．

*OpenIPMI 関係で警告メッセージ [#je231973]
シャットダウン時に OpenIPMI 関連のメッセージが出る．
よく読んでみると，HP の OpenIPMI モジュールはもはや必要ないとのこと．
メッセージどおり以下のコマンドで削除する．
# rpm -e hp-OpenIPMI
