**Remote Serial Connection via Xserve LOM [#y3940f07]
こんな情報あり.
http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/976

You can access the Mac OS X Server Xserve system Baseboard
Management Console (BMC) via the Lights-Out Management (LOM)
module using a network connection into the serial console;
you can remotely access the console via IPMI. To access the
serial connection from a Mac OS X box or another system with
ipmitool installed, use the following command:

 $ ipmitool -U username -H node.example.com sol activate

The sequence looks like this:

 $ ipmitool -U username -H node.example.com sol activate
 Password:
 [SOL Session operational. Use ~? for help]

 Darwin/BSD (node.example.com) (tty.serial)

Mac OS X Server versions including 10.5.4 and 10.5.5 Leopard do have
a appear to have a problem here somewhere, however,
as you'll receive pairs of:

 ProcessSOLUserInput - entered
 ProcessSOLUserInput - read 1 chars

for each character read in. It appears there's a diagnostic been
left enabled. The connection does work, regardless.

A bug report has been logged with Apple.

Use ~. (tilde period) to terminate the sol session,
or use ~? to get assistance on the special characters.

For more information and for more help on ipmitool, the usual commands are:
 man ipmitool
or
 ipmitool -h

If your particular Mac OS X configuration doesn't have the man page
available (and the installation of Server Tools may be required?),
here is the Apple ipmitool man page.

ipmitool 1.8.9 reportedly fixes this
 ipmitool -o intelplus -I lanplus -H host.domain.com -U user sol activate
